Can I major in business instead of biology, physics, etc and still continue to dentistry school in USA? For example, I take Bachelor’s degree in business in another country, can I still take dentistry in USA? If can, will the university prefer people with the biology/physics/etc major more?

Personally I’ve always liked the areas of classical physics and electrodynamics. General relativity is my favorite. I’d have to say I have the most trouble with particle physics.

I am a premed sophomore, and I completed organic chem, general chem, and biology, so I am planning to take physics and biochemistry for this upcoming spring term.

Is this schedule endurable? Physics in my school is considered as hard as organic chemistry.

I finished organic 1 and 2 during this last summer term by living in the library 11 hours per day.

What kind of stuff would you do? How much do graduates usually get payed? How is the job placement? Is there any point in getting a BS in Physics without going on to get a master’s and phd as well?

I want a physics project that is educational for someone who wants to study mechanical engineering. Something besides a mousetrap car and something a kid might enjoy building.

While I was doing my egg drop project I was wondering how does it do with physics. So,can someone please reply.
When I mean egg drop project mean when you go on a roof and drop the container down.
Also how does the packaging slow down the egg making it not break?

I don’t even know if i should take physics, but can you tell me the best book there is for SAT II Physics? And from what I’ve heard, the test is extremely hard, is that true?

Hi, I’m an Australian high school physics student currently studying the effects of high energy living upon the environment. As a physics student, I need to prove the steps I’ve made to reduce my household’s carbon footprint with relevant physics equations/support. An example of this would be how reducing a hot water system’s overall temperature would result in the saving of energy (q=mcT, reduce T to reduce q). Can anyone provide me with more examples pertaining to reducing household emissions?

I got a really stupid question on my physics homework: Suppose a fire truck rushing to a fire carrying a load of fire fighters and a large, open top tank of water is about to cross a bridge that may not support the load. The fire chief suggests that some of the people aboard get into the water tank and float without touching the sides or bottom in order to lighten the load. Is this a good idea or a poor idea?
Does anyone know how i should go about solving this thing? Thanks
